High odds on ANY OTHER make a trade unlikely here unless an opportunity emerges based on an early goal.
Wales have only managed a draw in the last 4 games they’ve played against Russia and have lost the other 3 but the last time they played each other was in 2010 during World Cup qualifiers when Russia won both legs.
That Welsh team did not include Gareth Bale of course and on the evidence of the first two games played here by these teams, you would have to fancy Wales to come out on top. Russia are the only team in group B now to have failed to win a game so qualification for them is absolutely dependent on a win against Wales.
Wales could qualify on a draw providing England beat or draw against Slovakia.
My feeling is a 1-0 win to Wales given the general lack of goals in this tournament so far and you have to fancy Gareth Bale to be the goalscorer adding a third goal to his tally.
